  Awful service. Drove 10 miles having been told by staff by telephone they had a bar billiards table. Upon arrival, table was covered and used for decks to play music. Staff struggled to apologise and flatly refused to make good. Wouldn't give one star if possible. Although we had paid to park we didn't stay to "enjoy" the beer or "bohemian" atmosphere so annoyed were we with the casual and unhelpful attitude. They obviously do not value the tourist input to the economy of Bath. I have never left a negative comment like this before so that sums it up.

  So, we landed in London at 6am. We were in Bath because it was our first stop on our vacation. We were cranky and I told my wife how surprised I was at the lack of pubs - we needed a pick-me-up. Lo and behold not 30 seconds later we see The Bell Inn.
  
  Typical neighborhood pub - the kind you see in every movie with a non-London setting. We were here at 1pm on a Friday and the place was packed with locals for a wake of an old pub employee. The atmosphere was incredible. Many older ladies and gents enjoying an ale in celebration of their friend. The wait staff were outstanding and gentle to the eye.
  
  I recommend this establishment to all who wander through Bath. Awesome place.
